hyperallergic: This week, renovations at the home of deceased German ‘Neue Sachlichkeit’ painter Otto Dix revealed six never-before-seen murals by the artist. Located in the southern German city of Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance, officials at the Stuttgart Kunstmuseum, which is currently renovating the house, said Dix most likely made the works for a Mardi Gras in 1966.
